Copycat Chili Lime Chicken Burgers (Low FODMAP)

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder (remove for low FODMAP)
1/4 tsp sea salt
zest of 1 lime
juice of 1 lime

Instructions

1. Mix all ingredients into a large bowl. Using hands (wet if needed), form into four balls. Flatten onto a parchment lined plate or baking sheet.

2. Bake at 375 or grill for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

 

Notes

These burgers are quite sticky, as is the nature of using ground chicken. I recommend forming into patties with your hands and letting sit in the fridge for a few before grilling if using the grill– and spraying the grill WELL to avoid sticking (start hot, too!).
